Charles Sheen, Cary Elwes and Amanda Plummer have signed to star in "Martin Eden" for Odyssey Entertainment under the direction of newcomer David O'Neill.

Danish-born Just Betzer, producer of the Academy Award winner "Babette's Feast," will produce the $10 million project beginning in April on locations in San Francisco. The film is an adaptation of an autobiographical book by Jack London.
