Catherine (Kay) May Kurland Harrison passed away December 19, 1993.

Born December 24, 1910, in Salt Lake City, to Stephen Peter and Angeline Smith Kurland. Married Vestil (Ves) S. Harrison, September 10, 1938. Marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.Active in LDS Church. Served 28 years as Primary teacher; two years as stake dance director, many years as faithful Relief Society visiting teacher. Avid square dancer for over 15 years. Derived joy from the flowers in her yard and home. Great love for and devotion to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her sunny disposition and friendly manner endeared her to friends, neighbors and everyone she met. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Survived by her husband of 55 years; children, Lani Kay (Gayle) Christensen of Centerville;

Cecelia H. Foxley (Arthur E. Smith) of Bountiful; Richard K. (Susan) of Tempe, Arizona; Rulon K. (Elline) Harrison of Centerville; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Louise (Earl) Hughes of Salt Lake City; brother-in-law, Jack C. Fitts of Salt Lake City; sister-in-law, Rosamond Kurland of Smyrna, Georgia.

Preceded in death by parents; infant son, Vestil K.; brother, Theodore; and sister, Geneve.

Services will be held 12 noon, Wednesday, December 22, 1993 at Centerville First Ward, 260 South 300 East. Friends may call at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, Tuesday, 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday at the church, one hour prior to service.

Interment, Centerville City Cemetery.
