James Dick Brown, Republican, age 76, passed away Dec. 19, 1993 in Salt Lake City.

He was born April 14, 1917 in Evanston, Wyoming to James and Mary Alice Duncombe Brown, Jr. Married Dora Louise Sallia on Feb. 1, 1946 in Indianapolis, Indiana, later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.Survived by his wife, Louise; sons and daughter, James D., Jr. (Elaine), Salt Lake; Charles David (Mary), Helena, Montana; Mrs. Shirley K. (Douglas) Angel, Joseph Curtis, all of Salt Lake City; Phillip Edward (Leslie), Kaysville; 19 granchildren; four sisters, Addie Taggart, Mary Williams, Alice Crompton, and Christine Isenhart; one brother, Joseph W. Brown.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 23, 1993 at 1 p.m. at the Holladay Second Ward, 2065 East 4675 South. Friends may call Wednesday fron 6-7 p.m. at the Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 So. Highland Drive, and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment, Holladay Memorial Park.
