Our beloved wife, mother, granny, sister and dear friend, Dona Grace Wankier, returned to the loving arms of her Father in Heaven, December 21, 1993, after suffering a stroke.

She was born July 21, 1923 in Nephi, Utah, to Hosmer and Salome Downs Grace. She married the love of her life, Maynard C. Wankier, April 7, 1948 in the Manti LDS Temple. She devoted her entire life to loving her family and friends. Her unshakable testimony of the LDS Church and study of the Book of Mormon was a driving force in her life. Dona had served in many church positions including Relief Society President, Young Women's Presidency, Primary and Relief Society teacher, visiting teacher and temple worker. She was endlessly caring and selfless. Dona was so deeply loved and will be truly missed.She is survived by her loving husband, Maynard; her children, Gail Whiting, Mesa, Arizona; Cheryl Belcher, West Jordan; Guymond Wankier, Salt Lake City; Marjorie Sansone, Murray; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Ipson, Layton; Myrna Adams, Las Vegas, Nevada; brothers, Dix Grace, Payson; Merrill Grace, Provo.

Funeral services Monday, December 27, 1993, at 11 a.m. in the Midvale 6th LDS Ward Chapel 425 Jackson St. (approximately 225 West 8150 South). Friends may call at Goff Mortuary 8090 So. State, Sunday 6-8 p.m. and Monday at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.
