Frank William Brown, 88, one of Heavenly Father's choice sons, passed quietly from this life December 21, 1993 at his home in American Fork surrounded and supported by those who loved and cared for him during his long life.
He was born August 27, 1905 in American Fork, the son of Joseph Webb and Lillian King Brown. He married his sweetheart Edith Jones for time and eternity September 1, 1926. Frank followed the family tradition and operated a portion of the family farm for much of his life. He later operated the farm and worked for Geneva Steel at the same time. He was well liked and universally respected for his honesty, industry, and his consideration of others. He was an active member of the LDS Church throughout his life serving in many callings. He was a High Priest in the American Fork 17th Ward at the time of his death.He is survived by his wife of 63 years, a son, Frank R. Brown, Bountiful, two daughters, JaNae B. Mattingly, Elaine B. Smith, Alpine; a brother, John M. Brown, San Bernadino, California. Preceded in death by three sisters and six brothers. He also leaves 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, his untarnished name, and the heritage of his gentle love for them and other family members.
Funeral Services will be Friday, 11 a.m. in the American Fork 17th Ward, 240 South Center. Friends may call at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, Thursday 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday at the Church one hour prior to services.
