Edward Neil Hardwick, born June 11, 1925 to Nannie Marie McNeil and George Edward Hardwick in Bountiful, Utah, died peacefully at home after a long illness, December 22, 1993.
Dad served in the United States Navy during World War II. Worked for Kennecott Copper and the Salt Lake City School District. Dad loved the outdoors. Was an avid sportsman, and Elder in the LDS Church. Family came first to Dad as devoted son, husband, loving father, grandfather, uncle, brother and cousin.Survived by: his childhood sweetheart and loving wife of 51 years, Elda Redford; four daughters and their husbands, Carma Lee and Jay, LaNeal and Woody, Delora and Joe, Elda Geraldine and John; 25 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; his loving sister, Vivian Peterson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held Thursday, December 23rd, from 6-8 p.m., at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah. Funeral services will be Christmas Eve, Friday, December 24th, at 2 p.m., Larkin Sunset Gardens Chapel, 10600 South 1700 East, Sandy, Utah with viewing prior to services beginning at 12:45 p.m. Burial, Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
