A man with 17 children and 29 grandchildren is one of the winners in the $90 million Powerball lottery drawing, lottery officials said Thursday.

Percy Ray Pridgen, 69, of Washington, was identified by lottery officials as the man holding one of two winning tickets. He is the sole owner of the ticket, which is worth $45 million, officials said.Officials say the man told them he wants to buy a home in the country for his wife.

The lottery office says the holder of the other winning ticket, which also was sold in Washington, had also come forward, but no details on that person were available.
