Edith Thorson Hall died on December 24, 1993 of causes related to an acute illness.
She was born in Salt Lake City, July 10, 1920, to Arthur J. and Flora Ernstrom Thorson. She learned well through her youth the lessons of frugality and hard work. She attended the University of Utah and graduated cum laude in 1942. She married Robert H. Hall on December 30, 1942 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.Her most notable legacy is that of love and devotion to her husband and family. She is survived by her husband, and children, Charles, Craig, Carol Bartholomew, Brent, Edith Martindale, Kristine Crocker, and 22 beloved grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 1993 at the Ensign 5th Ward, 589 18th Avenue, at 12 noon. Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Monday, 6-8 p.m. and at the ward one hour prior to services.
