Charles E. Devereaux, 74, died February 1, 1993 in West Valley City.
Born September 2, 1918 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Joseph and Annie Marie Devereaux. Married Catherine Ora Fitt, July 2, 1948. She preceded him in death December 2, 1986. Member of the LDS Church. Worked for Mountain Fuel Supply Co. for 33 years. Veteran World War II, U.S. Army.Survived by his children: Verle (Nancy) Hobbs, Larry (Winona) Hobbs, Kathy (Ron) Peterson, Charlene (Lonnie) Berry and George Devereaux; 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 5, 1993, 2 p.m. Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 So. Redwood Road where friends may call Thursday 6-8 p.m and Friday one hour prior to services.
Entombment: Redwood Memorial Estates.
