Three senior management changes at Kennecott Corp. have been announced.

Gary J. Goldberg is the new mining manager. He began his career at Kennecott in 1981 as a train and shovel shift foreman and became mine operations superintendent in 1987.Ray J. Gottling has been named smelter manager. He joined the company in 1967 as a management trainee and has held numerous other positions before being named refinery manager in 1990.

Tom I. Probert will become refinery manager, replacing Gottling. Probert began his Kennecott career in 1970 and has held numerous positions including scientist, engineer, manager and director in the Engineer and Process Technology Departments. Since 1989 he has been vice president of Kennecott Exploration in Australia.
