The new feature-length cartoon will use computer-generated animation, duplicating and visually expanding the TV series' look, which producer Alan Burnett describes as "dark deco."The picture will introduce several new characters to the Batman legend, among them a villain named Phantasm. Actors providing voices include Efrem Zimbalist Jr. as Alfred, the butler, and Mark Hamill as the Joker, the same roles they record for the weekly kiddie series.
