A 19-year-old woman suspected of firing the shot that killed a German tourist on his honeymoon was arrested Friday, two days after her boyfriend surrendered and reportedly confessed to his mother.

Police did not immediately release details of Patsy Jones' arrest in the attack on Uwe-Wilhelm Rakebrand and his wife as they drove an unmarked rental car on a well-traveled road near Miami International Airport.Jones' boyfriend, Recondall Wiggins, was arrested shortly after Wednesday night's shooting that sent jitters through Florida's $31 billion-a-year tourist industry.

Wiggins, also 19, identified Jones as the one who pulled the trigger of a .30-30 carbine hunting rifle as he drove a rented yellow Ryder van that bumped Rakebrand's car, The Miami Herald reported Friday.

Wiggins confessed to his mother when he and Jones went to see her at her job as a secretary at a police station, the newspaper reported.

"Momma! Did you hear about the tourist who got shot?" Wiggins asked, according to the newspaper. "I'm going to prison 'cause we did it."

The two reportedly said a friend named "Al" also was in the van. Police spokesman Angelo Bitsis refused to confirm that a third suspect was being sought.

Wiggins told a cousin about the killing when he saw her at a hospital where his son was hospitalized for treatment of a seizure, the newspaper said.

Jones was released from jail Sept. 4. She had been arrested for trying to pull a gun on a supermarket security guard on Aug. 14.
