Scheider, 58, is from Orange, N.J., graduated from Franklin and Marshall College, spent three years in the Air Force, then did theater before making his movie debut in 1964 in "The Curse of the Living Corpse." "The French Connection," "Jaws," "All That Jazz" are his best-known movies. "SeaQuest" is his first TV series although he almost did one in 1972. He made a pilot for ABC, "Assignment: Munich," then opted out. He's married to his second wife and is the father of three.

A. Anderson was doing double duty as "Home Improvement's" Tool Time Girl and one of the "Baywatch" babes until this fall when she decided to stick to the beach. She started doing TV commercials, moved to Los Angles and started acting with a bit on "Married . . . With Children."

A. "The Silent Service" was a syndicated series, seen 1957-58. The 78 half-hour shows based on actual stories of the submarine service was narrated by Rear Adm. Thomas M. Dykers (ret.). It's available for TV rerun.

A. Depp 30, has been in the news as owner of The Viper Club, the night spot where actor River Phoenix died of a drug overdose. Depp first found stardom on TV in "21 Jump Street" after short roles in "Cry Baby," "Platoon" and "Nightmare on Elm Street." He was born in Owensboro, Ky., grew up in Miramar, Fla., and quit high school to work with a rock band. He was married at 20, divorced at 22, and has had a succession of high-profile engagements that didn't last, with Sherilyn Fenn, Jennifer Grey and Winona Ryder.
Q. Tell us about Dooley Wilson. We know so little about him other than the significant part he played in making "Casablanca" such a memorable film. - H.D., Tulsa, Okla.
A. Wilson, real name Arthur, grew up in vaudeville and stock and had a band of his own in Europe in the 1920s. He worked in theater with Orson Welles and John Houseman before making his movie debut in 1942 in "My Favorite Blonde." He had minor roles in many movies, but "Casablanca," his fifth, is his best known. "Casablanca" trivia notes: Hoagy Carmichael was first choice for the role of Sam; Wilson couldn't play the piano. He faked it. He was 59 when he died in 1953.
Q. What is Bobby Driscoll, young star of "Song of the South," doing these days? Is he still acting? - J.B., Citrus Heights, Calif.
A. Driscoll is one of the saddest stories of child actors unable to adjust to life after early stardom. After success as a youngster, his movie career faded when he was in his teens. Unable to get work, he turned to drugs and was arrested several times. He moved to New York in 1965. In 1968, his body was found in an abandoned tenement, dead of a heart attack. It wasn't until a year later that he was identified. He was 31.
