The YWCA of Salt Lake City announced the winners of the 1994 Outstanding Achievement Awards. At the annual Leader Luncheon, to be held Tuesday, Oct. 11, at the Marriott Hotel, the following women will be honored:
Kathryn Bond Stockton, arts and communication; Lee Anne Walker, business; Theresa Martinez, education; Frances Hoopes, government and public service; Alice Kasai, human services; and Lucy M. Osborn, science and medicine.The keynote speaker for the luncheon will be Sandra Cisneros, who wrote "The House on Mango Street."
