Philadelphia 76ers center Shawn Bradley broke his nose during practice Monday but is not expected to miss any playing time, a team official said.

The 7-foot-6 second-year player collided with 6-foot-11 rookie forward Derrick Alston and fractured his nose in two places, according to team physician Dr. Jack McPhilemy."Derrick made a strong move to the basket and collided with Shawn. We fully expect he will be able to play against Utah," said 76ers head coach and general manager John Lucas.

Philadelphia plays host to the Jazz at the Spectrum tonight.

Bradley will be reexamined Tuesday. At that point, it will be determined whether or not he will have to wear any protective equipment while playing.
