Art student Chad Swan shapes a reindeer from a block of ice Monday at Primary Children's Medical Center, 100 N. Medical Drive. Cheery ice sculptures have become a Christmastime tradition at Primary Children's. About 3,500 pounds of ice were used to create the carving of Santa Claus, along with those of Prancer, Dancer and the rest of his team.
