Pamela Atkinson, vice president of mission services for Intermountain Health Care, has been appointed to the board of directors of the United Way of the Great Salt Lake Area.

She also serves on the Coalition for Utah's Future/Project 2000, State Board of Regents, Utah Science Authority and the National Conference of Christians and Jews.
