For the third consecutive year, Deseret News readers will determine just which Utah news stories were the biggest of the year.

Readers' votes will be tallied to determine the most important. The 28 readers who most closely match the final results may win prizes including $150 or $50 gift certificates, a Far Side calendar, the video "LaVell Edwards, BYU's Football Classic" or a Deseret News Marathon T-shirt.To enter, turn to the ballot on Page B3 of today's paper, mark your 10 choices for the top stories and then mail it, bring it or fax it to the Deseret News by noon Tuesday, Dec. 27.

Photocopies won't be accepted. Extra forms will be available at the Deseret News. Complete details and rules are printed on the ballot.
