The Home Depot will give away 1,100 Christmas trees free at its Salt Lake County and Riverdale, Weber County, stores.
Beginning Wednesday the trees may be picked up at 1310 E. Park Centre Drive (7045 South), located southeast of the Fort Union Family Center in Salt Lake County, and at 999 W. Riverdale Road in the Weber County community.Home Depot is open at both locations between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. during the week. Trees will be given out at both locations as long as the supply lasts, said Christine West, a spokeswoman for Home Depot.
Residents with questions about the supply of trees may call at 567-0700 in Salt Lake County and 621-7373 in Riverdale.
