Jack Nipper, age 71, died December 18, 1994 at his home of a long and courageous battle with cancer and respiratory failure.

Born October 1, 1923 in Idabel, Oklahoma to Milton N. and Minnie May Stukie Nipper. Married Shirley Fay Halverson, September 1, 1945 in Elko, Nevada. Member of the LDS Church.Survived by his wife, Shirley; three daughters, Connie Crook, St. George; Lorraine (Tom) Williamson, Las Vegas, Nevada; Joy Nipper, Salt Lake; three sons, Sam (Kris) Nipper, Denver, Colorado; Roy (Fay) Nipper, Sandy; Jack W. (Tracy) Nipper, Salt Lake; 23 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by son, Troy; granddaughter, Debbie; five brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held Friday 12 noon at the Rose Park 4th Ward, 1158 West 800 North. Friends may call Thursday 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 So. Redwood and Friday at the church, 11-11:40 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
