A benefit concert to help the Dan and Rhonda Christensen family, who was badly injured and financially devastated in an accident caused by a drunken driver, is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday.

Claudia Goodman of the musical Goodman Family said the concert will be held in the Sandy City Hall, 10000 Centennial Parkway (170 West). There is no charge, but concertgoers are encouraged to make a donation.The Christensens were profiled in a Nov. 27 Deseret News article. They were injured one year ago when their car was hit head-on by an inebriated driver, who later was sentenced to jail. For more information, call Goodman at 571-9889.
