Phyllis Hanks King, age 92, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 1994 in Bountiful, Utah.
Born October 12, 1902, in Syracuse, Utah, the daughter of Emanual and Maraldia Willey Hanks. Married Florien Barnes King, September 22, 1925, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on September 7, 1973. An active member of the LDS Church, having served in many capacities throughout her life. A skilled seamstress, having served her family and the needy with her talent for many years.Survived by one son, Garth H. King, Kaysville, and one daughter, Colleen (Carl) Stevenson, Fremont, Calif.; 10 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by one sister, Arlean Olson. Preceded in death by her husband, one son (Robert), her parents, five sisters, six brothers, one great-great-grandson, daughter-in-law, Doris.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 23, 1994, 11 a.m. at the Clearfield Stake Center, 935 South State. Friends may call Thursday evening 6-8 p.m. at the Lindquist Kaysville Mortuary, 400 No. Main, and also at the church Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Interment in the Kaysville City Cemetery.
