A dog named Blue visits Terry Mifflin of Roy at University Hospital Tuesday. Blue - owned by nurse Terry Hiller, who has her arm around him - accompanied carolers who sang to patients throughout the hospital. The St. Barnard, whose full name is Montana Blue Skies, participates in an animal therapy program that has drawn praise for its morale-boosting effect. Throughout Tuesday, 10 to 15 singers visited all the hospital's units, accompanied by Santa and Blue. "They love him," Julie Hoepfmer, assistant to the nurse recruiter at the hospital, said of the big canine. "Well, let's put it this way: He upstaged Santa Claus constantly."
