Irma Millicent Grames Dodge died peacefully December 21, 1994.

Born March 1, 1911, the fourth of eight children born to Ralph James and Bertha Birkinshaw Grames. Married William Harrison (Bud) Dodge June 17, 1944."Let's find a quiet place so I can tell you about our sister, Irma - To understand her you need to stop and pretend you are watching a tiny house wren flying very gracefully in a garden - lighting here and there to touch a flower and leave a bit of love at each stop."

Irma was a career employee of the Internal Revenue Service for 27 years. At her retirement she was saluted for her "quiet accomplishment as a gracious and gentle woman". She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She is survived by her brother, Walter Blair Grames (Betty), Downers Grove, Illinois; and two sisters, Leone (Mrs. J. McKinnon) Smith, and Betty June (Mrs. Kendall D.) Garff of Salt Lake City. Also surviving are brothers-in-law, Tom and Sam Dodge of Henderson, Nevada; and sisters-in-law, Beth and Sally Grames of Salt Lake City. "Aunt Irma" left an incomparable legacy of love and devotion to her 19 nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Zillah (Jean) Martha Grames Luckey and brothers, Ralph Leon, Lester Vaughn, and Richard Birkinshaw Grames.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 23, 1994 at 10:00 a.m. in the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 South Highland Drive, where friends may call from 8:45-9:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
