Christmas shoppers walk across Main Street between the ZCMI Center and Crossroads Plaza in downtown Salt Lake City. With only a few shopping days left, retailers are braced for an onslaught of last-minute shoppers. Everyone from panicked procrastinators to thrifty bargain hunters are expected to hit stores with a vengeance. And retailers can't wait. In fact, many have extended their hours to accommodate the rush.
