The Idaho Department of Fish and Game issued citations resulting in penalties for a Salt Lake City man convicted of poaching.
Robert Fogg was cited and found guilty of killing deer over the limit, unlawful possession of deer, and illegal purchase of an Idaho resident hunting license for 1993 and 1994.Fogg was sentenced to five days in jail and fined $2,231. His hunting and fishing privileges were revoked in seven western states for nine years.
CLIMBING CAMPS . . . Rockreation, a high-tech indoor climbing facility, is offering a holiday packages for kids, general fitness enthusiasts and experienced sport climbers.
It is currently offering an advanced climbing series, designed for those with climbing experience, focuses on particular needs of the participants. Cost for the three two-hour classes is $80.
It is also offering a kids climbing camp, a three-day climbing camp for youngsters ages six to 15. The camp will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, Dec. 28, 29 and 30. It will feature activities, climbing games, snacks, prizes and more. Cost is $60.
PHOTO CONTEST . . . Mount up your best action shots for the 3rd Annual REI/Sports Guide' Amateur Photo Contest. This year's theme is once again "muscle-powered action sports."
