Prescription medicine has joined fingerprints as a means of identifying fugitives from justice.

FBI-supplied mug shots along with a description of the fugitive's medical condition and medication needs are appearing in Pharmacy Times, a monthly trade journal, according to publisher Harold Cohen."The idea that a fugitive could avoid capture, change his identity, alter his appearance, move halfway across the country and keep a low profile only to be recognzed by a pharmacist filling his prescription has an ironic quality about it," said Cohen.
