For late Christmas gift shoppers and extending through Saturday, Dec. 31, Hogle Zoo is offering discount prices on memberships and the "Wild Child" adoption program.
Those who purchase Hogle Zoo memberships will receive a set of zoo posters, similar to those featured on billboards throughout Salt Lake City. Membership benefits include unlimited admission to the zoo for one year and free admission to more than 120 reciprocating zoos and aquariums.Family and grandparent memberships are $50; individual memberships are $30.
For a limited time the zoo has reduced the price of adoption on some of its most popular animals. A $25 payment helps pays for the care and feeding of a gorilla, white rhino, African elephant, polar bear or lion. Animals remain in the care and custody of the zoo; no ownership rights are conferred by the adoption.
