The American Fork Post Office will help make this Christmas memorable for some of its customers as employee Marvin Wheeler dons a Santa suit to deliver gifts on Christmas Day.

The "Santa Express Mail" program means anyone who wants to have Santa personally deliver a present to an American Fork, Alpine or Highland resident can do so by taking gifts to the American Fork Post Office, 55 N. Merchant St., until today at 12:30 p.m. Just tell the clerk it is for "Santa Delivery."For an Express Mail fee of $9.95 per item, Santa will deliver the gifts, up to 40 pounds each, on Christmas Day to any address in American Fork, Highland or Alpine. Presents may be gift-wrapped, with ribbons and bows, rather than wrapped for regular mailing. All gifts must be mailable, which means no animals will be accepted.

"People enjoy receiving Express Mail deliveries from Santa so much that many ask Santa to wait at the door until they get their cameras and their children," said American Fork Postmaster Ken Jorgenson.
