CAPTION ONLY: EYES ON THE PRIZE - A RESTORED 1987 CAPRICE

Clearfield Job Corps students put a shine on the 1987 Chevrolet Caprice Classic that they helped restore. Gwenville Francis, a graduate of the center, won the vehicle Friday afternoon in a raffle sponsored by the United Auto Workers Advanced Automotive program. Francis now works for Hertz in Boston. He completed the UAW program for brakes and transmissions. The UAW training helps students learn marketable job skills. Bill Cass-Stevens, secretary/treasurer of the UAW local union, donated the car.
