Massachusetts fire marshals inspect a house that burned early Saturday in North Attleboro, killing a family of six and another person who was apparently a house guest. In Baldwin, La., four children age 6 and under were killed in a fire that apparently started when they played with paper towels on a wood-burning stove. Two children escaped unharmed. The mother of two who died had left the house to wash clothes.
