Edwin Junior Sprague, 70, passed away Thursday, December 22, 1994, in Layton.

Born April 5, 1924 in Cedar City, Utah, a son of Edwin Elmer and Jessie Luke Sprgue.Married Joan Thomas on June 14, 1946, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Graduate, Piute High and Utah State University. Navy veteran of World War II. Worked at Hill AFB. Active member of the Kaysville LDS 2nd Ward, and served in numerous positions including mission with wife to Hong Kong.

Ed loved his family. He was a friend to all and loved to meet and greet all who would listen. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Survived by: Wife, Kaysville; sons and daughters, Gaylen (Debbie), Tyler (Debbie), Kyle (Kathy) Sprague, Trudee (Gene) Peterson, Kaysville; Doyle (Cindy) Sprague, Clearfield; Kathy (Calvin) Porter, Roy; 24 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Cleo (Elbern) Sorenson, Orderville. Preceded in death by parents, sisters, Edna Barnson, Daphne Robinson, two granddaughters.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 27, 1994, at 12 noon at the Kayville LDS Rock Chapel, 25 South 200 East, Kaysville. Friends may call Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 No. Main, and Tuesday at the church from 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
