Edla Illguth Seljaas, 87, Lincoln, Mich., died of natural causes December 20, 1994.

Born March 10, 1907 to Eveline Christene and Hans Martinsson Saetre in Sortland, Norway. She married Alf Eigil Illguth on February 28, 1930. With their three children immigrated to the U.S. in 1947. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. She was widowed September 3, 1971. Elda later married Tobias Seljaas December 15, 1972, and was widowed March 10, 1991.She served a Mission with husband Tobias in Norway 1973-1975, and worked for many years as a visiting teacher and in the leadership of the Relief Society for the LDS Norwegian branch. Danced in a Norwegian Folk Dance group, and spent much of her time caring for and visiting the sick. Edla worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

She was dearly loved and will be missed by family and friends.

Survived by Hyrum Alf Illguth, Alaska; Frank Joseph Illguth, Salt Lake City; Evy Anita Warmbler, Michigan; 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Margaret Jensen, New Jersey; Molly Angelsen, Olaug Endresen in Norway.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 28, 1994 at Mountain View Memorial Estates at 12 noon, where friends may call one hour prior to services.
