Somebody finally pulled the plug on radio bigmouth Howard Stern.
Police arrested an employee of a rival station in Cleveland Friday after Stern's broadcast was briefly interrupted by a cut cable.Stern's New York City-based show is syndicated to stations in several other cities, including WNCX-FM in Cleveland. He came to Cleveland to promote his recent ratings victory over morning programs on WMJI-FM and WMMS-FM.
Police arrested a WMMS employee who is accused of cutting a main cable used to broadcast the live show, said Detective Denise Reeves. The suspect's name was withheld because he wasn't immediately charged.
