"Glenn did a good job of reading the option," Hawaii coach Bob Wagner said. "We had to establish a running game, and Glenn did that." Freitas replaced Rodney Glover at quarterback. Hawaii's defense stifled the Ducks, holding them to 324 total yards and creating four turnovers.
