Frank Mayo Brickey, a former assistant University of Utah football and basketball coach, passed away Tuesday in Salt Lake City. He was 82.

Brickey was the head football and basketball coach at Arizona State Teachers College in Flagstaff (now Northern Arizona University) in the early 1940s before serving as an assistant at Utah from 1947 to 1956. He resigned from the U. in 1956 to enter private industry at Hall Process Company in Salt Lake.Funeral services will be at noon Friday at the First United Methodist Church (203 South 200 East), where friends may call one hour prior to services.
