Why waste time? Now that 11-year-old Michael Kearney has graduated from college, he's working on a graduate degree.

All in preparation for becoming a game show host."He could be Mozart, Einstein. We have no idea," said Kevin Kearney, father of the boy with the 300-plus IQ. "Right now he wants to be a game show host. That's a passion we have to accept."

Michael was the youngest child on record to enter college - age 61/2 - and the youngest to graduate - age 10 - when he got his degree in anthropology last year at the University of South Alabama.

On Friday, Michael announced plans to attend Middle Tennessee State University, which has offered him something similar to a full-time graduate assistantship. The real thing might violate child labor laws.

Michael plans to start school in January. He hasn't decided what he'll get his degree in.

"Glug, glug, glug," he said in response to a question about whether he would join a fraternity. "I'll bring the Kool-Aid."

Michael and his sister Maeghan, who is finishing high school at age 9, were mostly home-taught by their parents. Michael began spouting algebra while a toddler.

"He's been trying to take over the family since he was 3," his father said. "I used education as a scam, to divert him so Dad could stay in charge."
