The plea entered was in connection with the armed holdup of The Tool Shed, 402 E. 6th Avenue, in June 1992.

Aggravated robbery is a first-degree felony and each count carries with it a possible maximum sentence of five years to life in prison and a $10,000 fine.

Galli, 27, who with his brother and cousins was allegedly involved in a string of armed robberies, was arrested in July in Northfield, Minn., where he had taken on a new identity. He had been a fugitive since jumping bail in 1992.

A capital murder charge against Galli in the death of Green Parrot cook Merritt Riordan was dropped for lack of evidence in October.
