Mason McKay Livingston, 20, of Cincinnati, Ohio, and former resident of Sandy, Utah, died Tuesday, November 28, 1995, in Ponce, Puerto Rico from injuries sustained in a bicycle accident. He was serving a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, October 9, 1975. A 1994 graduate of Sycamore High School in Cincinnati, Mason achieved high honor roll status, served as freshman and sophomore class president, member of the varsity wrestling team; and co-captain of the varsity football team. He was an honorable mention on the All-Metro wrestling team and was on the east roster of the Tempstar East-West All Star football team in 1994. He was an Eagle Scout and Junior Assistant Scout Master for Troop 151. Mason attended Brigham Young University for one year before going on his mission.He is survived by his father and mother, Gordon Kay and LaNeal Livingston; three brothers, Brandon, who will leave for an LDS mission to Argentina on December 13th, Kyle, a student at Ricks College, Rexburg, Idaho; Brett, a freshman at Sycamore High School in Cincinnati, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins; grandparents are Owen and Helen Champleys of Salt Lake City; and the late Gordon and Eulalia Livingston.
A memorial service will be held at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 2nd South, Springville, Utah, on Tuesday, December 12, 1995, at 2 p.m. Visitation will take place at the mortuary an hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
