Elder Riki Eremasi Peters, age 21, died December 2, 1995 in his sleep. He was serving as a missionary for the LDS Church in the Sacramento, California Mission.
He was born April 1, 1974 in Ventura, California, the son of Albert and Mili Peters. He was the oldest son and the second of ten children. He was raised in Laie and Hauula, Hawaii and graduated from Kahuku High School. He worked for the sound crew at the Polynesian Cultural Center before being called to serve his mission in California.He is survived by both parents, five sisters: Teri, Lolini, Alberta, Rina and Lydia, and four brothers: Luapo, Claude, Nicholas and Elliott.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Orem North Stake Chapel, 1000 North Main, Orem. Friends may call at the church prior to services from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Lindon City Cemetery.
