AT&T said it will introduce an automatic redial service for international calls beginning March 20.
The service, which automatically redials a number up to 10 times over 30 minutes, will cost $3 a month for unlimited use during an introductory period.AT&T said the option will be available initially on calls to 20 countries but will be expanded by year end to include all countries that can be dialed directly.
The company has not decided whether it will continue to charge a monthly fee or implement a per-call fee, a spokesman said.
