Sadie Phoebe Bassett Curtis, 79, passed away September 25, 1995 in Richfield, Utah.
She was born March 18, 1916 in Ivings, Idaho, a daughter of LeRoy and Celia Woodland Bassett. She married Morris H. Curtis July 9, 1934 in Balckfoot, Idaho. Marriage later solemnized in the Los Angeles LDS Temple December 17, 1957. Lived in Yroba Linda, California for seven years. She was a homemaker and LPN.She is survived by her husband; two sons and three daughters, Morris L. (Renee) Curtis, Porterville, Calif.; Ms. GarFaye Jensen, Magna; Brice (Janet) Curtis, Sigurd; Mrs. Joycelynn (George) Smith, VanZant, Missouri; Mrs. Ellen (Don) Smoot, Power Montana; 26 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Mrs. Louise Gough, VanCouver, Wash.; and Rachel Bassett, Couglasville, Georgia. Preceded in death by son, Russell; three granddaughters and two grandsons.
Funeral services will be Friday, September 29, at 1 p.m. in the Salina First Ward Stake Center. Friends may at Springer Turner Funeral Home in Salina, Thursday evening, 7-9 p.m. and Friday morning at the Salina Stake Center, 11:30 to 12:30 prior to services. Burial in the Salina Eastside Cemetery under the direction of Springer Turner Funeral homes of Salina and Richfield.
