They're crispy, crunchy, peanut-buttery and they're round little balls of Butterfinger candy. This new version of the Nestle candy bar is called BBs and an 8-ounce package retails for $1.79.

Don Russell (married, five children at home, ages 6-16): "I assume Bart Simpson is honored to have us sample these Butterfinger miniballs. Since I like the traditional Butterfingers bar, it's basically a given that I'd enjoy this version. It's easy to keep shoveling these miniballs in your mouth. They're tasty and addicting in their own way. Unfortunately, sweeteners and oil are three of the top four ingredients in this candy. On the other hand, I doubt Bart cares!"Nihla Lake (married, two children at home): "I tried to invoke a warning on the package - `nobody better lay a finger on my Butterfinger' - but the family got to them anyway! I was lucky to get one `BB.' Butterfingers are all-time favorites at our house. In fact, our special summertime treat is homemade ice cream with crushed BF bars. Maybe this year we'll just dump in a bag of BBs."

Linda C. Tingey (single mother, two teenage boys at home): "I'm a Butterfingers fan anyway and found that these are a lot easier to chew. They're very good and my little grandkids just loved them. They don't fall apart and are not as messy as a Butterfinger bar. I prefer this version."

Rich Firmage (married, four children, oldest 10 years old): "We have bought these before and we will buy them again. I like Butterfingers, but I have a hard time eating a whole bar. They are just too sweet. But with these BBs I can just eat a few bites at a time and it's no big deal. These BBs are a great idea."

Bill Allred (single): "I love Butterfinger candy bars, but these bite-size morsels just aren't quite right. Something about the proportion: too much chocolate and not enough nougat, I guess. And shouldn't they just be called `Butter BBs'? There isn't a `finger' of anything involved here. I hope kids don't try to load these up in the old Daisy Air Rifle."
