Nan Estell Fitz Randolph Ayre passed away peacefully, August 1, 1996 at LDS Hospital surrounded by loved ones.
Nan was born July 8, 1912 in Salt Lake City, Utah the daughter of Murray Otto Randolph and Irene Hestelle Pulley. She married John Henry Ayre, May 16, 1934 in the Salt Lake Temple. Her beloved "Jack" preceded her in death as did her brothers, James and Richard Randolph.She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, John Randolph (Judy) Ayre, Jack Gaylord (Linda) Ayre and Jay Brent (Margo) Ayre; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Nan graduated from LDS High School and attended the University of Utah. She owned and managed a number of successful small businesses, and was in demand as a speaker to groups throughout the Valley. She had many friends who enjoyed her wit and colorful personality. She traveled extensively with her husband and sons. Now "Day is Done" and Nan is again with her beloved Jack.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, August 5, 1996 at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 Highland Drive, where friends may call from 8:30-9:45 a.m. Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Primary Children's Hospital, 100 North Medical Drive, Salt Lake City, UT 84113.
