East High all-staters Jason Kaufusi and Sione Pouha, who led the Leopards to the 4A state championship in November, have committed to play their college football at the University of Utah.
"They are getting some impact players," East coach Keeko Georgelas told the Deseret News.Kaufusi earned 4A Most Valuable Player honors while excelling at both tight end and defensive end. "Teams feared him," said Georgelas. "He's always a threat to make a big play."
