It cited officials of the Museum of Contemporary Art here as saying anti-communist Cuban-Americans had pressured the U.S. State Department to bar the 27-year-old sculptor, Alexis Leyva Machado, who is known simply as "Kcho".The museum's assistant curator Alma Ruiz told the newspaper the official reason given was that Kcho had violated terms of his tourist visa last year by working when he attended an exhibition of his work in New York.
