A great and truly wonderful human being departed from our presence the night of Dec. 20, after a short but valiant struggle with cancer. But now he is with the long time love and companion Sandra, who he missed so much. May our hearts go out for all the loved ones that were very much part of his life, especially his wonderful and very precious mother.

Richard Lynn Tattersall was born March 5, 1932 in the Cedar City, Utah the first of four very wonderful offspring of Scott and Maxine (Low) Tattersall. Dad served with pride in the Korean Conflict during 1950-52 with the Army Reserve, after which he married a very wonderful woman, his sweetheart and our mother, Sandra Robinson on June 1, 1953.Dad was exceptional with a camera, which he was often asked, "Why don't you do this for a living?" And he would respond back, "It wouldn't be as much fun!" Dad worked as a carpenter through most of his life including Tattersall Homes with his dad and brother, Cannon Construction for 25 years, Jacobsen-Robins after which he retired as head over construction for then Salt Lake School District.

Dad is survived by his wonderful mother, Maxine; daughters, Raelynn (Darrol) Baum, Jacqueline Johnson; sons, Steven (Gwen) Tatterasall and David (April) Tattersall; brothers, Norman and Keith Tattersall; sister, Marlynn Young; nine grandchildren; two step grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.

Our thanks to all those who have helped comfort and cared for Dad in his time of need. And a very special thanks to Raelynn and Steve for all the care that they provided for Dad during his illness.
