Prince Charles met with some homeless people Thursday - and came face to face with an old schoolmate.

Charles was touring the offices of the Big Issue, a magazine sold by the homeless, when Clive Harold came up and introduced himself. The prince appeared taken aback when Harold noted he had attended London's Hill House School with the prince 44 years ago."The prince did not remember me, of course, and I only remember him because we both had big ears and because he was obviously well-known there," said Harold, 49, who told Charles his life started falling apart about 10 years ago.

Harold said his father had been a millionaire financier and that he himself went on to become a successful author. But then his second marriage fell apart and he turned to alcohol.
