Richard Y. Bennion, Louise Kinner (for husband, Bill Kinner, who was in the hospital), Jill Molen Koeven and Danny Vranes (rear) were honored monday night at the Crimson Club Hall of Fame Banquet. Bennion won a total of seven conference tennis championships for the Utes in the mid '30s. As a broad jumper on the track team, he won two conference titles. Bill Kinner played every basketball game for the Utes from 1932-36. He was named to the AP all-Rocky Mountain team four straight years and became the Utes' first consensus All-American selection in 1936. Loeven excelled in distance running for the Utes in the early '80s. She still holds school records in the 3,000 and 10,000 meters. Vranes was a three-year all-WAC basketball selection for the Utes and was named to All-American temas after his junior and senior seasons. Vranes played seven years in the NBA.
