Marcella F. Carter, 58, died Tuesday, September 16, 1997 following a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
She was born February 22, 1939 in Buena Vista, Pennsylvania to Oliver and Sarah Ann Ophar Field. She married Arthur Lee Carter, Sept. 6, 1956 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She especially loved to spend time with her family.She is survived by her husband, Arthur Lee Carter; children: Molly (Steve) Mangum, Boyd (Darla) Carter, Craig Carter, Valerie (Robert) Gunn; 19 grandchildren; father, Oliver Field; brother, John Field, and sisters: Sharon Meadows and Beverly Scow. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sarah Ann Field.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept. 19, 1997 at 1 p.m. at the West Jordan 8th Ward Chapel, 7000 So. 2700 W. The family will receive friends, Thursday evening, 6-8 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 So. Redwood Rd., and one hour prior to services at the church. The interment will be at Redwood Memorial Park.
